denial
"a view of a better tomorrow"
No, business as usual
the killing won't stop,
it will increase.
"No president should try and impose religion on our society"
Did he just say that?
Supreme Court... 3 justices
that is scary
what to do what to do what to do?
You say you want a revolution? well you know... we all want to change the world

Comments:
I wanted to vote for Kerry. I really did. I tried to find reasons for it. Kerry gave me nothing except "I will do it better than Bush."
The bush-hating in this last election turned me off, turned millions of undecided voters off, and made certain that the religious right came out in droves to vote.
I remain a social liberal, and it bugs that this election was won on the backs of anti-gay legislation (see my blog post). The election surprised me by hinging on the gay marriage legislation, and the Republicans used it to great effect in the same way that the Democrats used the "hate-Bush" idiology to mediocre effect.
I decided on Monday that the USA would be okay no matter who won. The differeces we see are mostly for show anyways.
Regroup. Come back with a message that appeals to more than those that already believe (i.e., not hate) and you will win.
Go head-to-head with the Republicans in a hate war, and you will lose. They have Christians.
